A new version of TheBetEngine has just been released.
To update your existing version, you should follow these simple instructions:
1. Close down the existing copy of TheBetEngine (if it is running).
2. Download the new release from http://www.betdynamics.com/downloads/Th ... .6.0.0.exe
3. Double-click on the newly downloaded file to start the installation (you can safely install this version on top of the existing version)
If the installation throws any kind of error, then reboot your machine and attempt the installation once more.
Additions
1. InPlay bets are now supported. Select the Allow InPlay option on the Bet tab. TBE will then wait until the market goes InPlay before placing any bets.
2. New Use Odds setting on the Bet tab - ABSP (Actual BSP). This will attempt to bet at the actual BSP price (as soon as it is determined). Note - this requires InPlay betting to be enabled.
3. Average odds are now displayed in the Statistics panel on the View Betting Log screen.
4. Horse numbers are displayed on the race grid for UK/IRE racing if they are enabled on the General tab (they are already displayed on the runners grid)
5. Distance settings on the Criteria tab have been updated to include Max distance (previously all distances were Min values)
6. New Filter (for UK/IRE racing) - horse weight (expressed in pounds)
7. New Filter (for UK/IRE racing) - horse age
8. Betfair points value is now displayed under account information.
9. Maximise matching can now be overridden on an individual betting system level (new addition to General tab)
10. A CLOCK warning is displayed if your clock is greater than 2 seconds off the correct time.
11. No of available recovery cycles has been increased for both Backing and Laying.
12. Window size/position is now remembered.
13. The General tab has been redesigned into two tabs - AutoInclusion and Options.
14. New feature added to General/Options - Skip Races. You can specify a number of races to skip both on a win and on a loss.
15. Added Carry Forward Counts - carries forward the sequence numbers from day to day (at the moment they are reset each day)
16. You can now select Last (1L) and 2nd Last (2L) ranked dogs via the Ranking tab.
17. Trap numbers are displayed against dog results.
18. You can now load incremental selections (i.e. a second set of selections) into the same betting tab by holding down SHIFT when you click on the Load button.
19. Increased timeout on fast dog results.
20. Added proxy credentials to allow the use of TBE with proxy servers.
21. TBE now prevents updates if TBE is already running (Note - for people with two or more licences, all of your TBE instances must not be running when doing an update)
22. Blank fields in a selection file are now treated as if they were zero.
Fixes
1. "Results not received. Race/bets ignored" message is no longer erroneously displayed if using the Settled Market as the Results Source.
2. % Recovery staking plan has been corrected when dutching and splitting recovery over a number of bets.
3. % Recovery staking plan corrected when trying to recover greater than 100% of the loss.
4. Corrected "distance to specific" processing.
5. Corrected exception that was thrown if the external horse database could not be contacted.
6. Corrected an error in test mode when invalid dutch bets were not discarded.
7. If no. of bets (Bet tab) has been incorrectly set to 0 then TBE will automatically correct it.
8. Prevent use of a Use Odds setting of BSP if InPlay betting is enabled (you cannot place a BSP bet InPlay!)
9. Unmatched action is ignored if InPlay betting is enabled.
10. Revamped the layout slightly to make the virtual bank visible at a screen resolution of 1024x768.
11. Fixed a bug where errors on bet placement stopped TBE from getting the matched/unmatched status of other bets.
12. Missing plug-ins now raise an error and prevent the betting tab from being set to ACTIVE.
13. Rank overrides of zero are now treated correctly - i.e. they are ignored as they do NOT indicate an override.
14. If the first part of an E/W bet was not correctly placed, then the place element of the bet could be repeated many times.
15. Fixed an issue where the final P/L on a market could be requested before the matched bet status was retreived (leading to markets with a P/L of zero).
Changes
1. Carry forward losses is now activated if the check box is ticked - previously it was only enacted if the setting had been saved to the settings file (by the tab being placed active or the bot being closed down).
