A new version of TheBetEngine has just been released. Upgrading is recommended.
To update your existing version, you should follow these simple instructions:
1. Close down the existing copy of TheBetEngine (if it is running).
2. Reboot your machine to ensure that no errant processes are still running.
3. Download the new release from http://www.betdynamics.com/downloads/Th ... .6.1.1.exe
4. Double-click on the newly downloaded file to start the installation (you can safely install this version on top of the existing version)
Additions
1. New entry on Bet tab - Max % - the race is only selected if the no. of selections DOES NOT exceed the specified % of the total runners.
2. New entry on the Criteria tab - Book % - the race is selected only if the total book value is greater than or equal to the specified value (for back bets); or is less than or equal to the specified value (for lay bets).
3. New entry in the Limits area - Races - the specified action will be taken when bets have been placed (and matched) on the specified number of races.
4. Extra override columns added to the Runners grid - Liability, BSPLimit, UseOdds, LiveOdds, ReversePrices.
5. Added No. of Retries and Interval to the One Off Selection plugin parameters - so multiple attempts can be made to load the selections.
6. New plugin - CondSelCloseOdds - allows the selection of additional runners if they are within the specified distance of the odds of the current runner (e.g. select additional runners if their odds are within 0.05 of the current selection).
7. New plugin - IncludesFav - only allows bets to be placed if the current selections include the favourite.
8. New plugin - SingleRunnerInRange - only allows a bet to be placed if only a single runner is within the odds range specified.
Fixes
1. Corrupt configuration files no longer throw an exception.
2. Carry Forward Counts now carries all counts forward correctly.
3. Daily horse data is now correctly saved to file for users outside of the UK (which should mean that FC prices are not lost if TBE is restarted).
4. In E/W betting, the min value for each element has been corrected to be 1% (previously 0% could be entered which prevented bets from being placed under certain circumstances).
5. Net P/L values are now correctly displayed if you are betting in cycles (i.e. the action in the Limits area is set to Reset).
6. The Config button is now correctly enabled for Post-Selection Filtering plugins.
7. The Min and Max no. of bets (Bet tab) are now defaulted back to 1 and 50 respectively if the values are set to zero.
8. The wording on the Kelly staking plan has been updated to reflect that you are using an Edge % not a Strike Rate.
9. The wording on the Mixed staking plan has been updated to Odds Cutoff rather than Fixed Cutoff.
Changes
1. Maximise chances of matching has been removed from Settings/Betting. You must now set this option individually per betting tab via the General Betting Criteria tab (Options sub-tab).
2. In the Dutch Options, Max Book has been replaced by Min ROI - see the revised manual for an explanation of the new option.

If you are currently using a custom-built plugin (not a standard issue plugin), then please contact me for an updated version.
