A new version of TheBetEngine has just been released. Upgrading is recommended.
To update your existing version, you should follow these simple instructions:
1. Close down the existing copy of TheBetEngine (if it is running).
2. Wait one minute and then reboot your machine to ensure that no errant processes are still running.
3. Download the new release from http://www.betdynamics.com/downloads/Th ... .6.1.3.exe
4. Double-click on the newly downloaded file to start the installation (you can safely install this version on top of the existing version)
If you are currently using a custom-built plugin (not a standard issue plugin), then please contact me for an updated version.
Additions
1. Added Qualifying Race auto-inclusion sequence to General/Auto-Inclusion (see notes below)
2. Added clock warning threshold to Settings/Diagnostics to allow you to set how many seconds the clock can be out of sync before TBE displays a warning message.
Fixes
1. Fixed the permanent display of CLOCK on Windows 8 (note - you still cannot sync the time under Windows 8 as this requires administrative privileges)
2. Fixed an exception that was thrown if clock synchronisation was invoked before the previous attempt had completed.
3. Fixed CondSelectCloseOdds and MaxCombinedOdds plugins which threw exceptions on first attempt to configure their parameters.
4. Book% can now be correctly reset to zero (on the Criteria tab) to disable to the function.
5. Fixed an intermittent issue with index synchronisation that allowed filter lookups to look up values for the wrong horse.

How to use Auto-Include Qualifying Races
This function can be used to determine what to do when a qualifying race is detected. For example, you could use it to prevent betting on the first 4 races and start betting on the 5th race.
This is achieved by specifying a series of stake multipliers in the Sequence box. These stake multipliers are entered as decimal numbers separated by the pipe (|) character.
For example: If you want to bet on the first 6 qualifying races with a single unit stake, then you would enter the sequence as:
1|1|1|1|1|1
To prevent betting on any given qualifying race, set the entry to zero.
For example: If you want to prevent betting on the first 2 qualifying races and then bet on the next 4 qualifying races, you would enter the sequence as:
0|0|1|1|1|1
If there finite number of entries in the sequence then TheBetEngine will only bet on that number of qualifying races. However, if you want to continue betting after the end of the defined sequence, then you should end the sequence with an asterisk (*). TheBetEngine will then use the previous stake multiplier for all further bets.
For example: If you want to prevent betting on the first 2 qualifying races and then bet on all remaining qualifying races, then you would enter the sequence as:
0|0|1|*
Finally, you may enter any stake multiple in the sequence.
For example: If you want to bet using single unit stake on the first qualifying race, a 2.5 unit stake on the second qualifying race and then 5 units on all remaining races, you would enter the sequence as:
1|2.5|5|*
