A new version of TheBetEngine has just been released. Updating is recommended.
This version has been uploaded to the automated update servers, so you should be prompted to update next time you run TheBetEngine.
However, should you encounter any issues, or you just want to update your existing version manually, you should follow these simple instructions:
1. Close down the existing copy of TheBetEngine (if it is running).
2. Wait 1 minute (to allow all files to be saved) then reboot your machine to ensure that no errant processes are still running.
3. Download the new release from http://www.thebetengine.co.uk/downloads ... .8.0.6.exe
4. Double-click on the newly downloaded file to start the installation (you can safely install this version on top of the existing version)
Additions
1. Updated AdvGenderChecks plugin to allow the actual sex (colt, gelding, rig, horse, filly, mare) to be selected.
2. New Post-Section Filtering plugin (UpToMaxCombinedOdds) to return a variable number of horses that have combined odds less than or equal to a specified value.
Fixes
1. Fixed an issue where bets on withdrawn horses were not returned as void.
2. Fixed an issue with the race distance filter for races with a distance of 1m (affected USA and UAE racing only).
3. Fixed an issue where races were not detected as going InPlay which then affected the ability to place InPlay bets and also to obtain the published BSP odds.
Changes
1. Altered race loading so it more closely mimics the action of version 2.7 (i.e. races are loaded for the designated Betfair day).
