A new version of TheBetEngine has just been released. Updating is recommended.

This update has been uploaded to the auto-update servers, so you should be prompted to upgrade.

If you are still running version 2.8.0.6 or below, then you will need to update manually.

If you need to update manually, you should follow these simple instructions:

1. Close down the existing copy of TheBetEngine (if it is running).
2. Wait 1 minute (to allow all files to be saved) then reboot your machine to ensure that no errant processes are still running.
3. Download the new release from http://www.thebetengine.co.uk/downloads ... .8.0.8.exe
4. Double-click on the newly downloaded file to start the installation (you can safely install this version on top of the existing version)

There is a problem with placing BSP bets using the 2.8.0.8 release.

TBE correctly identifies and prepares the bet, but it does not get successfully placed on Betfair.

We are investigating and will issue a fix as soon as possible.
