A new version of TheBetEngine has just been released. If you bet on the AUS/NZ racing then updating is recommended.
To update manually, you should follow these simple instructions:
1. Close down the existing copy of TheBetEngine (if it is running).
2. Wait 1 minute (to allow all files to be saved) then reboot your machine to ensure that no errant processes are still running.
3. Download the new release from http://www.thebetengine.co.uk/downloads ... .9.0.3.exe
4. Double-click on the newly downloaded file to start the installation (you can safely install this version on top of the existing version)

1. The default stake for the banded staking plan can now be based on a % of the bank.
Fixes
1. There is still an issue with Betfair returning null responses when being queried for bet statuses (this relates to viewtopic.php?f=28&t=636). In particular, this seems to affect markets that are suspended and closed within a few seconds. TBE must wait a few seconds when a market has suspended before querying the status of the bets (to allow the market to be re-opened if there is an enquiry), but you can now configure the time period that TBE will wait for AUS markets. This can be set on the Settings/Diagnostics tab. Initial tests show that a timeout period of 5 seconds removes the majority of the problems experienced.
2. Fixed a further problem with Fast Dog Results. This remains the fastest way to retrieve greyhound results, but please ensure that you have Fast Dog Results enabled in Settings and that your Results Source is set to RSS.
3. Fixed the problem where the "unable to retrieve matched/unmatched bets" message was mistakenly displayed in test mode.
Note
In order to completely fix the problem with null responses on AUS markets requires a major change to way that bet statuses are retrieved. This work will now commence but will take some time to complete.
