A new version of TheBetEngine has just been released. Updating is recommended.
Note - this is a pre-release, issued to address a problem with going. However, updating is still recommended.
To update manually, you should follow these simple instructions:
1. Close down the existing copy of TheBetEngine (if it is running).
2. Wait 1 minute (to allow all files to be saved) then reboot your machine to ensure that no errant processes are still running.
3. Download the new release from http://www.thebetengine.co.uk/downloads ... 9.1.9K.exe
4. Double-click on the newly downloaded file to start the installation (you can safely install this version on top of the existing version)
Additions
Note - because this is a pre-release, the following additions are not yet documented and should be treated as experimental.
1. Single Strike staking plan added to both back and lay staking.
2. 1 Point staking plan added to both back and lay staking.
3. Linking of tabs now includes Link Races - if one of the linked tabs places bets on a race, then the other linked tabs cannot.
4. Linking of tabs now includes Sequential linking - for example, you can set-up 2 or more identical tabs and then use the Link Races and Sequential features to move the betting from one tab to another in sequence (i.e. the bets on the first qualifying race are placed on tab 1, bets on the 2nd qualifying race are placed on tab 2, etc.) This is sometimes known as Mexican Wave.

1. Catered for non-standard going as displayed by Sporting Life (e.g. Standard/Slow and Standard/Fast)
2. Myriad of small fixes.
