A new version of TheBetEngine has just been released.
If you are running an earlier version of TBE, then you will be automatically prompted to upgrade when you next login.
However, should you wish to update manually, then you can do so by following these simple instructions:
1. Close down the existing copy of TheBetEngine (if it is running).
2. Wait 1 minute (to allow all files to be saved) then reboot your machine to ensure that no errant processes are still running.
3. Download the new release from http://www.thebetengine.co.uk/downloads ... .9.5.5.exe
4. Double-click on the newly-downloaded file to start the installation (you can safely install this version on top of the existing version)
This is a mandated change. All versions of TBE must be updated by 31st January 2020
Additions
1. Events tab - added some more race types
2. General/Advanced2 tab - InPlay % Complete now covers US racing
3. General/Advanced2 tab - Pre-Off betting window - you can now set a limit on the amount of time that TBE will look for a selection after your bet time has been reached. By default, TBE will continue looking for selections until the start of the race. By setting a bet window, you can restrict this. For example, if your bet time as 5 minutes before the off and you set a bet window of 60 seconds, then TBE would stop looking for bets 4 minutes before the off.
4. Filters tab - FC Movement can now be used on Place markets as long as Win Odds For Place is ticked on the Criteria tab.
5. Snapshots tab - added Dec% to Steamer and Drifter Odds Movement
6. New Post-Selection Filtering Plugin - BSPRanges - similar to the Ranges tab but operates on published BSP odds (for use on InPlay strategies)
7. New Post-Selection Filtering Plugin - CondNumSelections - allows for a differing no. of selections depending on the number of runners in a race.
Changes
1. The way that limits works has been altered. Cycle and Session Limits now operate locally (i.e. they are no longer linked when linked limits are in force). Session Limits are limited to Profit/Stop Loss (a limit on the number of cycles may be added later).
2. Linked limits now only apply to Profit and Stop Loss (note - trailing Stop Loss is not supported on linked limits) and are set via the new Linked Limits tab.

1. Roll-up of a few hotfixes.
Notes
1. As this release included new race types, any systems that are filtered on race types will need to be revisited to add the types just added. Race Types are added/excluded via the Events tab.
The manual still needs to be updated to reflect the latest changes. This will be done shortly.
