A new version of TheBetEngine has just been released. Due to some changes to the Betfair API, you are strongly encouraged to update to the latest version.
If you are running an earlier version of TBE, then you will be automatically prompted to upgrade when you next login.
However, should you wish to update manually, then you can do so by following these simple instructions:
1. Close down the existing copy of TheBetEngine (if it is running).
2. Wait 1 minute (to allow all files to be saved) then reboot your machine to ensure that no errant processes are still running.
3. Download the new release from http://www.thebetengine.co.uk/downloads ... .9.5.6.exe
4. Double-click on the newly-downloaded file to start the installation (you can safely install this version on top of the existing version)
Additions
1. Events tab - added Cross Country Chase to the race types
2. Prompts for two-factory authentication and 24x7 running added for first-time users.
Changes
1. Updates to cater for recent order processing updates in the Betfair API.
2. Small changes to the handling of two-factor authentication.

1. As this release included new race types, any systems that are filtered on race types will need to be revisited to add the types just added. Race Types are added/excluded via the Events tab.
