Betfair suffered a major outage this morning and was offline (exchange, sportsbook, API and API-NG) for a few hours.
Whilst services were restored around 12:00 (noon) UK time, history has shown that the exchange is often "flaky" for a few hours after a major outage.
Therefore, I would treat the exchange with a degree of caution at this time.
