There appear to be some problems with the AUS Exchange. Caution is, therefore, advised!

Two separate things are being reported:

1. A large increase in messages timing out.
2. Requests to query the state of bets on a market is returning blank values.

To try to combat the timeout issues, you might want to try increasing the Betfair timeout value. To do this, click on the Settings menu, go to the Diagnostics tab and try increasing the Betfair timeout value from 10 to 20.

This may help but not if the "timeout" issue is on Betfair's servers.

I have logged support tickets with Betfair and will update this thread with any information that I receive.

Betfair are investigating the issue (particularly issue no. 2 on the previous post).

I have been working with Betfair in an attempt to work out why they are sending null responses to requests for bet information on AUS markets.

Initial investigations seem to point to markets that are being suspended and closed in a very short timescale.

Whilst Betfair and I continue our investigations, I have put together a potential workaround for the issue. This can be downloaded from http://www.thebetengine.co.uk/downloads ... .9.0.2.exe

Whilst the workaround has improved the situation, it hasn't eradicated the issue and, therefore, more work is required.

A new release of TBE has been uploaded to the servers which should address the issue of incorrectly reporting unmatched bets. This principally affected AUS horse-racing markets. Howver, investigations in conjunction with Betfair did show that it was possible for other markets to be affected.
