On the 20th September (07:00 BST), Betfair will be making some major changes to their infrastructure.

The changes involve the removal of the Australian Exchange (from an API perspective) and the removal of the Australian wallet. All markets will now be served directly from the UK Exchange. If you have any funds in your Australian wallet, then these funds will be merged into your main wallet.

These changes will necessitate a change to TheBetEngine (although only those people that bet on AUS/NZ races will be affected). In order to continue to access those markets, you will need to update your copy of TBE.

HOWEVER, at present, Betfair are not supplying any mechanism for bot vendors to test new versions of their software on the new infrastructure prior to the proposed cutover on the 20th September. Although the necessary changes have been made to TheBetEngine in advance, we cannot actually test that they work until the new infrastructure is fully available.

This means that we will not be able to test the new version until the 20th September and we will release the new version of the software as soon as the tests are completed.

I have had confirmation from Betfair that this change is going ahead as planned.

Please be aware of the following from Betfair:

1. Until 7am the markets will be available as they exist currently on the AUS exchange.
2. From 7am-noon there will be no AUS markets available while we start the migration. New AUS markets on the Global Exchange will be activated at around noon.

I will be conducting tests as soon as possible on the 20th and should (hopefully) release a new version of TBE later the same day.

We are still testing the new release and should be able to release something later today.
