A new version of TheBetEngine has just been released. Upgrading is recommended.
To update your existing version, you should follow these simple instructions:
1. Close down the existing copy of TheBetEngine (if it is running).
2. Wait 1 minute (to allow all files to be saved) then reboot your machine to ensure that no errant processes are still running.
3. Download the new release from http://www.betdynamics.com/downloads/Th ... .6.2.2.exe
4. Double-click on the newly downloaded file to start the installation (you can safely install this version on top of the existing version)
Additions
1. New option - Ranking tab - Bookie Odds (OC). The live bookie odds from Sporting Life do not seem to be overly accurate, so a new option to take the live Bookie odds from OddsChecker.
2. New option - Ranking tab - Rank by FC Odds. Ranking will be done according to the FC odds downloaded from Sporting Life at 05:45 each morning.
3. New option in the General Betting Criteria (Options sub-tab) - Auto-Hide. When ticked, any deselected races will be automatically removed from display when the betting tab is set to ACTIVE.
4. New option - Settings/General - Cancel stranded bets. When placing below Betfair minimum bets, TBE has to go through a predefined series of steps which involves placing a minimum stake bet and progressively altering that to give the correct stake/odds. If the process fails at any point in the process then you are left with a "stranded" bet on the exchange. If Cancel stranded bets is ticked, then TBE will attempt to cancel these stranded bets when an error is detected.
5. Three new race types added - Grp 1, Grp 2, Grp 3 (these are the same as Group 1, Group 2, and Group 3) but cater for Betfair mislabelling the race details. If you want to include Group races, then you should include both Group and Grp race types.
6. The LoadHRBSelectionsFromFile plugin has been updated to allow multiple systems to be loaded into the same betting tab.
7. New option in Settings/Diagnostics - Clear Today's Files - to cater for days when the external race/horse data is incorrect and corrected files need to be loaded.
Fixes
1. Lay dutching min book value was incorrectly set to 100. Now min/max book values for both back and lay bets default to zero.
2. Loading selections in short (4 column format) now handles runner names that contain brackets correctly.
3. The Config button was not activated correctly when One-Off Selections was selected (greyhounds only).
4. The LoadSelectionsFromFile plugin was not activated for greyhound racing.
5. The LoadSelectionsFromFile plugin now correctly loads selections that contain brackets.
6. The LoadSelectionsFromURL plugin was not activated for greyhound racing.
7. The LoadSelectionsFromURL plugin now correctly loads selections that contain brackets.
8. The CondSelectCloseOdds plugin has been fixed.
9. When attempting to send the Debug Files, duplicate file names caused an exception to be thrown.
10. The LoadHRBSelectionsFromFile plugin has been updated to allow alternative date formats to be loaded correctly.
Changes
1. Min/max book values for both back and lay bets now default to zero (meaning that the setting is ignored)
2. Profit and Stop Loss Limits now default to zero.
3. When setting a tab to ACTIVE, a check is made for duplicated tab names. If a duplicate is found, TBE will not allow the tab to become active. (All tabs in TBE should have unique names).
