Following on from yesterday's planned maintenance (which I didn't see until too late to post anything!), I have just been told that Betfair will be down again tonight.
The message I received said:
Please be aware that there is planned essential maintenance scheduled for Friday 26th of September between 23:00 BST & 23:10 BST
During this period, the entire Betfair Site will be down and you will receive a blank page when trying to access the site. The API will also be unavailable during this period.
Updates will be available at service.betfair.info

Actually it looks like it is 23:00 - 23:10 UTC (or 00:00 - 00:10 BST) according to their twitter feed.
