Version 2.5.1.0 of TheBetEngine has just been released.
To update your existing version, you should follow these simple instructions:
1. Close down the existing copy of TheBetEngine (if it is running).
2. Download the new release from http://www.betdynamics.com/downloads/Th ... .5.1.0.exe
3. Double-click on the newly downloaded file to start the installation (you can safely install this version on top of the existing version)
If the installation throws any kind of error, then reboot your machine and attempt the installation once more.
Additions
1. Bet tab - when placing BSP lay bets you can now decide what to do if the liability of the bet exceeds the maximum liability that you have entered. The choices are:
-> Discard - the bet is thrown away
-> Adjust to max - the liability of the bet is trimmed down to the specified maximum value
-> Allow bet - the bet will be placed with the current calculated liability (even though it is higher than the specified maximum)
2. Bet tab - you can now specify the Min/Max number of qualifying bets in order for bets to be placed. For example, if you only want to bet if 3 or more selections pass the betting criteria, then set the Min Bets value to 3.
Fixes
1. Use Odds settings of Sure and Profit now respect the Reverse Prices flag.
2. % Recovery plans with a stake setting of Bank % or Profit were incorrectly reset to Stake each time TBE was upgraded to a new version.
3. When using BSP lay bets, the liability now uses the correct odds (either win or place) depending on the type of the market.
4. Fixed an issue where non-runners/reserves could cause a hidden race to become unhidden and selected for betting.
5. Fixed an issue where the status of the "Reset switch systems to live" option in Settings/General was not respected fully.
6. Fixed an issue where the stake would not reset correctly for the % Bank staking plan when the ratchet checkbox was ticked.
7. Fixed an issue where non-runners were not processed correctly if live odds were being used.
8. Fixed an issue where corrupted gender information received from Betfair could cause betting on a particular market to be curtailed.
Changes
1. Dutch Max Book value has been altered to just Book Value. The value is taken as a maximum for back bets and a minimum for lay bets. The setting can now be set to values greater than 100.
Breaking Changes
1. Dutch Min/Max number of bets has been removed and replaced by the overall Min/Max number of bets (see additions).
2. Stop after 1st match (Criteria tab) has been removed and replaced by Stop after X bets (Bet tab). Set to zero to ignore; Set to 1 to act like the old Stop after 1st match; Set to any other value to stop after that number of matches.
